Following a meeting of the board of directors of Abu Dhabi-listed Aabar Investments, HE Khadem Al Qubaisi, managing director of International Petroleum Investment Company (Ipic), has taken over the chairmanship of the board of Aabar Investments from outgoing chairman Abdulhamid Saeed.
Al Qubaisi says: “I would like to place on record my thanks to Abdulhamid Saeed, the outgoing Aabar chairman, for his excellent leadership during his tenure with the company. Thanks to Saeed’s contribution in building Aabar, I am sure the company faces a promising future and will work in partnership with Ipic and its other partners, to deliver excellent returns to all its stakeholders in the years ahead”.
