DLA Piper is taking on Tony Holland in its finance and projects practice in Dubai as regional head of finance. He brings over 25 years of extensive banking, project finance and infrastructure finance experience. He will head the finance team within the finance and projects practice, which is led by Damian McNair and already consists of 14 partners and over 35 lawyers.

Holland joins DLA Piper from Mallesons Stephen Jaques’ Melbourne office, where he played a central role in the development of the banking and finance practice group. Holland’s main areas of practice are project and infrastructure finance, and acquisition finance and structured property finance. He has worked extensively with clients in the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors, and has led teams advising on some of the largest project financing in Asia and Australia. Holland joined Mallesons Stephen Jaques in 1982 and has worked in both the Melbourne and London offices. He also served as head of the banking and finance practice in Melbourne.
Holland will play a critical role in the development of DLA Piper’s finance team across the Middle East and will also work closely with the global finance team.
