Telecom Egypt has appointed Hassan Helmy as new vice-president for financial affairs and CFO with immediate effective.
Helmy succeeds Tarek Tantawy in the role following Tantawy’s appointment as the company’s CEO and managing director in August 2009.
Helmy has more than seventeen years of audit experience, serving multinational and some of Egypt’s largest companies. He joins Telecom Egypt from KPMG Hazem Hassan, where he was senior partner responsible for the firm’s audit practice.
