Rothschild, a corporate finance advisory firm, has appointed Herve Sawko as its head of investment banking in the Middle East.

Sawko's move to Dubai is to further strengthen Rothschild's senior management team in the region.

Sawko has over 20 years' experience in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and financing advisory. He has been with Rothschild for 17 years, first in Paris and for the last three years in New York, where he contributed to the development of Rothschild’s North American franchise, focusing particularly on international transactions.

He will work closely with Michael Helou, head of M&A and Paul Reynolds, head of financing advisory.
