New treasury boss for EAB

Turnnidge promoted to department head.


Europe Arab Bank (EAB), which helps European companies to do business in the MENA region, has named Neil Turnnidge as its new head of treasury.

Turnnidge, who moves up from being the department’s deputy, takes up the appointment with immediate effect.

His responsibilities include capital markets, FX and corporate bond trading.

Turnnidge has more than 25 years experience of treasury markets, primarily in the money market and foreign exchange arena.

Prior to joining the bank he was treasurer at Raiffeisen where he was in charge of its London branch’s interest rate and liquidity risk. He has also held several senior treasury roles at Credit Industrial et Commercial, Bank Austria, Samuel Montague and Midland Bank.

EAB was established four years ago and today is worth some €570mn. Its head office is in London with branches in Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan, Vienna, Rome, Paris and Cannes.
