Exotix appoints legal counsel

Bada to focus on emerging market transactions. 

Exotix, a frontier markets investment banking boutique, has hired Jide Bada as its global general counsel.

Bada was recently a director of consultancy Petra Associates, where he advised companies such as NR Capital and Royal Bank of Scotland on capital markets and trading transactions in emerging markets.

While at Petra, he worked with Exotix on various projects, specifically structuring and securitisations in sub-Saharan Africa.

Bada’s previous roles included assistant general counsel and head of compliance at broker ICAP as well as holding positions at law firms Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Allen & Overy.
