Bank announces new project finance head and other moves.
BNP Paribas has made several promotions in the structured finance division of its corporate and investment banking business, including a new global head of project finance.
Prema Balakrishnan, currently the bank’s head of energy and commodities, asset and project finance for Australia, has been named head of project finance, based in Paris. She’ll start the new role in September.
Emmanuel Rogy, currently head of project finance, is moving to become head of energy and commodity finance for EMEA, also working in Paris.
Charlotte Conlan, currently head of leveraged finance and media and telecom finance origination for loan syndications for EMEA, will become head of origination and sales for loan syndications and trading for EMEA, based in London.
Finally, Andrew Shapiro, currently head of corporate acquisition finance and value preservation group for the Americas, has been promoted to head of loan syndications and trading, based in London.
