French bank promotes Behaghel to head of global transaction banking.
Societe Generale has promoted Christian Behaghel to head of global transaction banking and deputy head of global transaction and payment services.
Behaghel joined the bank in 1976 and was most recently global head of large corporate clients in its French retail banking division.
In his new role Behaghel will oversee corporate cash management, cash clearing and correspondent banking, international trade financing services and factoring.
