Bank adds to Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities division.
Russian investment bank Sberbank CIB has appointed two new managing directors. Francois Mantion will take over as head of Commodity Trading with Raymond Bird set to become head of Strategic Equity Financing, GM Trading. Both appointments are in the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) division.
Mantion joins from JP Morgan. He will report to Maxim Safonov, head of Global Markets Department, managing director. Bird, who has been at Royal Bank of Scotland since 2004, will report to both Maxim Safonov and Timur Nasardinov, head of the Equity Division, managing director.
