Former RenCap man to lead expansion outside of Russia, CIS.
VTB Capital, a Russian investment bank, has appointed Andrew Cornthwaite head of international coverage and head of international global banking. He will be based in London and report to Riccardo Orcel, deputy CEO of VTB Group.
In his new role, Cornthwaite will be responsible for developing the client strategy of VTB Capital and VTB Group, while leading the expansion of its business outside Russia and the CIS. He previously worked at Renaissance Capital where he was deputy CEO and head of investment banking.
