New CEO takes the helm at CBQ.
Commercial Bank of Qatar has appointed Abdulla Saleh Al Raisi as its new CEO. He joined the bank in 1998 and has been deputy CEO since 2007.
Andrew Stevens will continue as group CEO. According to a statement issued by the bank, Al Raisi’s appointment will allow Stevens to focus on the bank’s international strategy, including investments in National Bank of Oman, United Arab Bank and Alternatifbank in Turkey.
