Russian state investment bank makes two new appointments.
Sberbank CIB, a Russian state investment bank, has made two additions to its M&A team.
Igor Ushakov and Vadim Marchuk will join as M&A investment banking directors, reporting to co-heads of investment banking and managing directors, Mickael Gibault and Pavel Sokolov.
Ushakov comes to the post from a six-year stint at Deutsche Bank, where his most recent role was as director of the European natural resources group. Marchuk comes joins the team from JP Morgan’s global M&A group, where he was an executive director.
These appointments are the latest in a number of recent senior hires. The bank has recently added a number of managing directors including Francois Mantion as head of commodities, Sascha Prinz as head of rates and Nicholas Harwood as head of equity.
