Russian bank names new exec VP, Asia-Pacific markets chairman and equity solutions head.
Russia’s Gazprombank has made several new appointments in its capital markets team.
Sanjar Aspandiiarov has joined as executive vice-president, and will oversee sales and trading across debt and equity markets. He joins from Barclays, where he was a founding trader of the emerging-markets fixed-income group and recently specialised in rouble trading in Russia.
Michael E. Hammond joins as co-chairman and head of capital markets in the Asia-Pacific, opening a Hong Kong office for the bank, while Igor Donnio joins as managing director and head of equity solutions.
