Hires made by Bahraini bank’s acting CEO.
Ithmaar Bank, a Bahraini Islamic retail lender, has made three executive appointments, according to an announcement by acting CEO Ahmed Abdul Rahim.
Abdul Hakeem Al-Mutawa takes over as general manager, head of retail and private banking after a stint as assistant general manager of the same division. He has been at the bank since 2003 and counts on 30 years of experience.
Abdul Rahman Al Shaik, who has been with the bank since 1991, is now head of banking operations, information technology and administration, also moving up from the assistant position.
Taimour Raouf takes the role of senior manager, head of marketing and corporate communications. He has been with the bank since 2008.
