Investment bank taps Apple CFO for independent directorship.
Goldman Sachs has hired Peter Oppenheimer, chief finance officer at tech giant Apple, as an independent director.
Oppenheimer will sit on the US investment bank’s audit, risk, compensation and corporate governance committees.
The move takes the Goldman Sachs board to 13 members, 10 of whom are independent.
