Pan-European exchange makes two hires to support post-trade business.
Euronext, a pan-European stock exchange, has made two new senior hires in its post-trade business.
Andre Simpson has been appointed the company's London-based head of post trade, running the company's relationship with LCH.Clearnet and overseeing the development of Euronext’s clearing strategy for the cash and derivative markets. Simpson was most recently chief operating officer at UK-based exchange SWX Europe. At Euronext he'll report to Lee Hodgkinson, head of markets and global sales.
Meanwhile, Hugo Rocha is joining Euronext as a member of the management board with responsibility for commercial and sales activities at Interbolsa, the Euronext subsidiary and central securities depository for the Portuguese market. Subject to regulatory approval, Rocha will join the company on September 1. He joins from BNP Paribas Securities Services, where he was a senior sales and relationship manager covering Iberian clients. He'll report to Hodgkinson and Luis Laginha, chief executive of Euronext Lisbon and Interbolsa.
