Russian financial services group creates new CEO role for international operations.
Russia’s BCS Financial Group has appointed Tim Bevan as chief executive of its BCS Prime Brokerage division.
The newly created role will see Bevan responsible for the firm’s international operations outside of Russia. BCS has been growing its investment-banking business in the UK, for example.
Bevan joined BCS in 2012 from Otkritie Capital, where he was director of global electronic trading. He’s also worked at Renaissance Capital and, earlier in his career, at the London Stock Exchange.
