Banker returns to firm to head up trade within global transaction services.
The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has hired Martin Knott as head of trade within its global transaction services (GTS) division, starting in December. He’ll report to Carole Berndt, head of GTS.
Knott returns to RBS after a stint at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was head of trade for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to that he worked at RBS as transaction services head for Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.
He’s also held roles at ABN AMRO and Barclays.
