Citi names new EMEA debt capital markets head.
William Weaver, Citi’s head of debt capital markets for Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa has been promoted to head of EMEA debt capital markets and syndicate.
Weaver has been with Citi for 20 years, and as head of the CEEMEA debt team took the division to the top of the league tables in 2013, when a record US$230bn-worth of international bonds were sold. (Click here to read our profile of the bank’s CEEMEA DCM team.)
A spokesperson for Citi was unable to confirm Weaver’s replacement as CEEMEA DCM head.
