Dominic Broom takes on global head of trade sales role

Banker begins the year, as many of us hope to do, with a set of new challenges and opportunities.

Dominic Broom, as BNY Mellon’s recently appointed global head of trade sales for the firm’s treasury services business, brings his extensive experience in treasury services, most recently focused on the EMEA region, to a wider global role.

Previously working as head of sales & relationship management for EMEA, Broom explains how things are evolving in the treasury services business, “We have further integrated elements of our trade finance business – namely sales, product management, operations and risk distribution – to bring a seamless, end-to-end set of solutions to our clients.

“We are enhancing our own internal risk appetite by working closely with other trade institutions, such as banks, fund managers and companies that deal in trade processing.
