Citi picks Antonios for newly created MENA role

Citi has appointed Elissar Farah Antonios as the newly created head of the Middle East and North Africa cluster, giving her the overall responsibility for piloting the bank’s business in the region.

Antonios has been Citi’s country officer for the UAE since 2016 and cluster head for the UAE, Levant and Iraq since 2019.

“She has helped to advance Citi’s relationships with some of the most important clients in the region,” said in internal memo seen my EMEA Finance. She will continue in her country officer role.

While at Citi, she has also worked as head of the company’s private bank in Abu Dhabi.
