New partners and investments at New World Capital Advisors

Addition of Evans and Tsirigotis set to help reinvent traditional merchant banking.

In November 2018, New World Capital Advisors (NWCA) announced the appointment of two new partners, Alexander Tsirigotis and Simon Evans. Tsirigotis was appointed chief operating officer, while Simon Evans assumed the role of general counsel. They joined the existing partners, Adam Sadiq and Zeiad Idris, who founded the company in 2016.

A specialist merchant banking and investment firm, NWCA focuses on market dislocations and bespoke investments across developed and emerging markets. The company prides itself on marrying ‘old world principles’ with ‘new world thinking’ – in essence reinventing traditional merchant banking for the modern world.

Adam Sadiq, co-founder and managing partner, stated that the company wishes to emulate the Rothschilds, Jardines and Flemings of old.
