Citi welcomes Frigerio in new role

Transaction services adviser to grow EMEA business.

Citi has appointed Dario Frigerio as a senior adviser in its global transaction services team.

Frigerio will be based in Italy and will advise across the division’s interests in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will also help to build stronger links with the bank’s clients in the region. 

Andrew Gelb, Citi’s head of securities and fund services for EMEA, described Frigerio as having deep connections in the industry and offered him the role as part of the bank’s EMEA growth strategy.

Frigerio is a former chief executive of Pioneer Global Asset Management Services. His previous roles include heading UniCredit’s wealth management business.
