KPMG to support companies moving into emerging markets.
KPMG has appointed John Kelly to lead its transaction services business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Kelly, formerly Europe LLP head of transaction services, joined the firm as a consultant and moved into transaction services in 2002.
He said that his new appointment will help support corporates moving into new markets.
“UK companies have increasingly been looking to escape the low growth domestic economy by exploring higher growth geographies,” Kelly added. “While large international companies are confident buyers in domestic markets, acquiring assets in emerging economies requires an additional level of comfort.”
