Bank names new head of trade and product management.
Standard Chartered has appointed Michael Vrontamitis as head of trade and product management.
A 19-year veteran of the bank, Vrontamitis was previously head of product for Greater China and Northeast Asia, overseeing transaction banking product management, covering trade finance, cash management and securities services.
In his new role, Vrontamitis will be responsible for trade finance offerings in documentary trade, receivables services and supply chain finance. He'll be based in Hong Kong and report to George Nast, global head of product management in the transaction banking division.
