New associate director joins African private banking team.
HSBC has strengthened its private banking business in Sub-Saharan Africa by appointing Fiona Sheerin as an associate director.
Sheerin will focus primarily on Nigeria and Ghana and will be based in London reporting to John Lee, director of West Africa.
She joins from Barclays Wealth where she was assistant vice president focusing on Africa. Prior to that Sheerin was a manager at HSBC International Wealth Management in Johannesburg.
