Qatari telecoms company will use funds from 17 lenders to repay existing borrowing.
Ooredoo, a Qatari telecoms company, has signed a US$1bn loan.
The five-year revolving credit facility will allow the company to repay a US$750mn loan that falls due next May, as well as funding general corporate activities.
Seventeen global and regional banks contributed to the loan.
