Troika Dialog names new equity sales head

Will Hammond quits Deutsche Bank to join Russian group.

Russian investment banking group Troika Dialog has appointed a new global head of equity sales.

Will Hammond joins the team at the end of April and will be based in the group’s head office in Moscow.

The University of Rochester graduate joins from Deutsche Bank, where he was head of Russian international and domestic equity sales. He has also been an institutional investor-ranked analyst covering US broadcasters. 

Troika Dialog’s head of global markets, Peter Ghavami, said Hammond has the experience to consolidate the group’s position in the Russian equity sales market domestically and overseas. 

He added that Hammond will lead the team through a unique period of opportunity, with Russia benefitting from unprecedented growth.
