New global head of electronic trading moves from Barclays Capital.
Renaissance Capital, a Russian investment bank, has appointed Damian Bunce as its global head of electronic trading.
Bunce takes up his role in February, splitting his time between London and Moscow and reporting to Nick Andrews, global co-head of markets. He will focus on integrating Renaissance’s electronic and traditional client franchises across its equities and fixed income products for Russia, the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.
He also becomes a member of the bank’s markets executive committee.
Bunce joins Renaissance from Barclays Capital, where he was managing director and head of electronic trading distribution in Europe. Prior to this he was Goldman Sachs’ head of execution sales in Europe.
