Russian investment bank hires RenCap MD for global markets role.
Sberbank CIB, the corporate and investment banking division of Russia’s Sberbank, has named Damian Bunce as head of direct market access.
Bunce has spent more than 20 years working in the global markets. He joins Sberbank from Renaissance Capital, where he was a managing director and global head of the electronic trading group. He has also worked at Barclays Capital in London and Goldman Sachs in New York, London and Tokyo.
He’ll be based in Moscow and will report to Timur Nasardinov, head of the bank’s equity division.
