Russian investment bank strengthens equities sales team.
Renaissance Capital, a Russia-based emerging-markets investment bank, has appointed Amr Aboushaban vice-president of its equities sales team.
He will be responsible for increasing the bank’s client coverage in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa and will report to Florian Hellmich, head of equity distribution. He comes to the role from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he has worked in emerging market sales since 2007.
This is the latest in a raft of hires for Renaissance Capital. Recent additions include Robert Lamprecht as head of Africa sales and Harry Stanford as director of equity sales in London.
