Arefyev returns to investment bank as co-head for Russia.
Investment bank Renaissance Capital has appointed Maxim Arefyev as a managing director and co-head of investment banking for Russia.
Arefyev returns to RenCap, where he was head of the consumer group in investment banking between 2008 and 2013, after a stint as a board member at the Russian Direct Investment Fund.
He will now lead the origination and execution of M&A, equity and debt capital markets transactions in Russia and the CIS, alongside divisional co-head Anton Cherny.
