Natural resources-focused boutique expands with purchase of Advanta Capital.
VIS Essential Investments, an investment firm focused on natural resources, has acquired Advanta Capital, a Zurich-based private equity firm active in the same sector.
Advanta’s founding partners, Marcel Kaufmann and Christoph Künzle, have joined VIS as partners.
VIS was established in Brazil in 2011 and now also has an office in Switzerland.
