Dentons bulks up to meet increasing demand from European banks
Michael Huertas joins the firm’s Frankfurt office to advise banks facing a myriad of challenges like Brexit, regulatory and structural changes.
Global law firm Dentons, announced that specialist banking regulatory and structured finance lawyer Michael Huertas joined as a partner in the Frankfurt office. He has been hired to strengthen the banking, finance and capital markets practice areas.
Huertas has a deep roster of banks, financial institutions and alternative investment funds that he advises on a varied range of critical issues including: structured finance transactions, securities lending, complex derivatives, banking regulatory and FinTech matters.
In the field of financial market supervision, Huertas specifically focuses on issues relating to the EU’s Banking Union, the Capital Markets Union and matters of importance coming from and for the European Central Bank (ECB) and the European Supervisory Authority.
