The first partner to be based outside London, Hanna will head up Balderton’s new Berlin office.
In May, Balderton Capital announced Colin Hanna’s promotion to partner. Part of Balderton’s investment team since 2016, Hanna is leading the new Berlin office, which makes him the company’s first ever partner to be based outside of London.
“Having been with Balderton for five years, I am humbled to now call my mentors my partners,” said Hanna. “I look forward to strengthening Balderton’s unique approach from Berlin as we engineer serendipity for European founders with planet-scale ambition.”
