Mark Bailey has been appointed head of EMEA for Bank of America Merrill Lynch's global equity financing and services platform.
Bailey will report to Michael Stewart, co-head of global equities, and Sylvan Chackman, head of global equity financing and services. He will be based in London
Bailey joined the company in 2007, and most recently served as chief operating officer for global equity financing and services. Before joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bailey was with Credit Suisse for ten years within the prime services business, and was based in London, Zurich and New York.

We will continue to invest in our platform, and Mark will play a leadership role in ensuring that we remain a premier provider of financing solutions to our clients."
