Power-sector banker steps up to run Warsaw office and become bank’s country head for Poland.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has named Grzegorz Zieliński its new director for Poland.
Zieliński will also become head of the bank’s resident office in Warsaw. He’s been with the bank since 1998, and joined its power, energy and utilities team in 2001. He’s been responsible for the EBRD’s work in Poland’s power sector since 2006.
His predecessor, Lucyna Stańczak-Wuczyńska, has moved to the bank’s London headquarters, where she becomes director for financial institutions covering EU banks.
