Ireti Samuel-Ogbu has spent 26 years with Citi in Nigeria, South Africa and the UK. Now the bank’s payments and receivables head for EMEA, she says she’s found the role of her career.
Ireti Samuel-Ogbu describes her latest job at Citi, as the bank’s treasury and trade solutions payments and receivables head for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as the kind of role she aimed for throughout 26 years with the bank in Nigeria, South Africa and the UK. Sitting with EMEA Finance in Citi’s London offices after a couple of months in the post, she says it’s “met and exceeded my expectations – it’s exactly what I was looking for”.
