Richard Parris to move from Dubai to open new branch.
Law firm Clifford Chance is opening an office in the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC).
The firm, which is currently waiting for a license to open the new Doha branch, has been active in Qatar since the 1980s. In a statement, Gulf managing partner Graham Lovet said the opening of an office in the QFC is in response to clients' requests for a presence on the ground.
The new office will be headed by Richard Parris, currently a partner in Clifford Chance’s Dubai office and a projects specialist, and Greg Englefield, who spent two years on secondment to a local Qatar law firm.
