Regional general manager to lead Lithuanian bank.
Bjørnar Lund has been named as the new chairman and chief executive of AB DnB NORD Bankas in Lithuania.
Lund starts his new role on May 1, when he steps up from his current position as regional general manager at DnB NOR, the bank’s Norwegian parent.
He replaces Dr Vygintas Bubnys, who returns to his previous position of AB DnB NORD Bankas’ deputy chairman and vice-president.
Lund has held several senior positions in the bank’s corporate and retail operations since joining DnB NOR in 1987.
AB DnB NORD Bankas is a universal commercial bank that provides a range of financial services to more than 650,000 individual and corporate customers in Lithuania.
