Director returns after six years to become regional CEO.

Len Brennan will rejoin financial services firm Russell Investments as the new chief executive of its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations.

This will be the Canadian’s second spell at the firm having spent two decades in various senior roles, including managing director of individual investor management. He rejoins Russell from Rainier Investment Management, a firm he joined six years ago as chief executive and president.

Brennan replaces Johan Cras, who steps down from the role for family reasons but remains with Russell Investments as a Northern Europe consultant.

Russell Investments has also named Pascal Duval as president of its EMEA operations. He will work closely with Brennan to grow the firm’s business in the region.

The firm says further appointments are planned.
