New business banking head to support SMEs.
HSBC Middle East has welcomed Simon Burdett as its head of business banking in Qatar.
Burdett has 13 years of experience in banking, with a particular focus on working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Fadi A Fattal, HSBC Qatar’s head of commercial banking, said Burdett will help the bank serve the country’s SME sector, which he described as the “backbone” of the economy.
