New CEO and chairman joins from HSBC Egypt.
Banque Du Caire, an Egyptian bank, has named Mounir El Zahid as its new chief executive and chairman.
El Zahid joins the bank from HSBC Egypt after he received a national assignment mandate from the governor of the central bank.
He spent 16 years at HSBC in various roles including managing director and deputy chief executive.
El Zahid started his career at Chase National Bank Egypt in 1977.
