Bahraini bank brings on new CRO, assistant general manager.
The Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) has made two appointments to its executive management team.
Amit Kumar takes over as chief risk officer and head of the credit and risk management team. He has been with BBK since 1994 and counts on 30 years of banking experience.
Separately, Rashad Akbari has been appointed assistant general manager for operations. Akbari has been with BBK for the past 13 years and was previously head of the transactional banking division. This no longer exists, having merged with a number of other departments. He succeeds Mahmood A Aziz Al Meer, who stood down on February 28.
