UAE bank hires George Beatty from National Bank of Kuwait.
The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) has appointed George Beatty as general manager of consumer and elite banking.
Beatty joins from National Bank of Kuwait, where he was group head and general manager of consumer banking in the latest role in a 20-year financial services career.
In his new role, he will be tasked with increasing NBAD’s number of personal banking clients. The news comes as NBAD maps out efforts to grow its business further in 2012 – the bank plans to open 14 more branches and cash offices to extend its reach in the UAE.
