New board division markets head to replace Butler.
Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) has announced that Klemens Breuer is to join its supervisory board.
From April Breuer will be responsible for RBI’s board division markets, which includes investment banking.
He has been appointed following the resignation of Patrick Butler, who has held the position since Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich’s merger with the principal business areas of RZB in 2010.
Until recently Breuer was a member WestLB’s managing board, where he was responsible for capital markets, research and treasury.
The appointment is subject to approval from Austria’s Financial Markets Authority.
