Kenyan exchange boss announces his departure at end of second three-year term.

Peter Mwangi has confirmed that he will retire as chief executive of the Nairobi Securities Exchange in November, when his second three-year term in the role comes to an end.

Mwangi has led the Kenyan exchange since 2008, and amendments to the country's capital market regulation in 2012 stipulated that the chief executive of an exchange can serve for no more than two terms.

Mwangi's final milestone in the role has been to oversee the demutualisation of the market and recent initial public offering.
