African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association adds two industry veterans to top team.
The African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AVCA) has added two new members to its now 16-strong board.
The association, which promotes Africa’s private-equity industry, has appointed Andrew Johnstone and Ziad Oueslati as directors.
Johnstone is chief executive officer of Macquarie’s African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), which has US$1bn under management across four funds.
Oueslati is the founding partner of AfricInvest-TunInvest Group, a private-equity firm operating across the continent with 13 funds.
