Law firm makes two new Dubai-based hires.

Law firm Trowers & Hamlins has made two new partner hires in the Dubai office of its International Projects Group.

The firm has hired Stewart Simpson, previously managing associate in the Dubai office of Simmons & Simmons, and Peter Bowring, who joins from King & Spalding in London, where he was counsel.

Simpson has advised on projects including the Dubai Metro system and an international bid to design, construct and maintain a highway linking Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. Bowring has advised on a US$201mn asset financing of a major private equity firm and the US$120mn project financing of a Zambian mine.
