Clyde & Co's new infrastructure partner

Booth moves from Simmons & Simmons in Abu Dhabi.

Law firm Clyde & Co has hired George Booth as a partner in its projects, energy and infrastructure practice, working in the Abu Dhabi and London offices.

Booth joins from Simmons & Simmons, where he was a partner for six years and at various times headed the corporate and projects practice groups. During his career he has worked with companies including BP, ExxonMobil, Reliance Industries and the Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority.

At Clyde & Co Booth will focus on transactional work in the energy and infrastructure sectors, with particular focus on inward and outward investment and government-originated work throughout the Middle East, India and other emerging markets.
